Question slant nose conversion

Can someone tell me what exactly was involved in performing the slant nose conversion? I have seen the obvious visual differences with the vents but what else was involved?

Question odometer woes

I recently had the odometer in my 81 SC quit. Is there an easy way to remove the speedometer? I would then like to ship to a repair shop if someone has references.
