I did actually find a hole under the battery that was letting water in on the DME. I am fiberglassing the area now and hope the DME will dry out and work for me again. Thanks for all the advice.

Pull the fuse for the fuel pump and run the car...

Pull the fuse for the fuel pump and run the car until it runs out of the little fuel left in the lines. This is suppose to relieve the pressure that is always in a fuel injection system.
