Trying to replace my old oil soaked and leaking intake elbow. The new one is very stiff and after an hour of struggling I still can't get it on. Is there a trick to this (engine in)?

Was confused for a minute- Speedy has it on "d-" terminal while Pat seems to have it on the housing itself. Put the multimeter between the two sites and voila!. There are the same.
