I experienced the same thing after I installed a LWF, and noticed the difference immediately after I replaced the DMF. I was told not to worry about... but I admit that I still don't like it!

I was told my my insurance company that they would value the car based on Kelly Blue Book value. Unfortunately, KBB values RSA's the same as C2's. Hopefully your insurance company...
