How about a 5 dollar bike lock that threads through the chin area/visor of a helmet? You can carry it in a tank bag or under the seat and you won't have to worry about anyone cutting the strap.

Yeah but can you ride 6 hrs with them? I know the etymotics fit great under a helmet. They are as good as a custom set I had made from precision labs.
