I've used Intercity several times - no worries with them. I'd bail on the DAS and pay whatever I had to. Cheaper than damage the was NOT caused by you.

It's one of the beauties of living in Texas. On the older cars, you simply tell them what you think it's worth, pay the tax, get a plate. Nice. They don't validate your value estimate.
