All fixed, what a job,pulled the rubber boot up...

All fixed, what a job,pulled the rubber boot up the shaft and aplyed greese then spent a hour fixing back in place ,and have a sore back to prove it.

How can i stop it squeaking,the noise is in the foot well area, it must be a bush on the steering shaft that needs a drop of oil, i can not find a way in, not with WD40 tube.please help, my daughter...

Thanks for the advice, i removed the idle control...

Thanks for the advice, i removed the idle control valve and washed the crap out, also the throttle body, replaced the coil packs,and it sounds as sweet as a nut.

Can i test my Idle Control Valve on the bench,
if i can what are the connections, i can read 1,2,3, on the connector,
if i plug it back in to the car it just vibrates when i switch the ignition...

drove the car for about 6 miles and did not stall once, tick over is about 900,and all is fine,

when i put the battery on charge i found over 1 inch of water sat below,so i took the battery out and cleaned out the drain plugs, one of which poped out so will have to take the wheel off...

engine stalls when car slows at junctions, going to change fuel filter, any other ideas, it is a 1999, 996 boxster, only just got it , was very pleased for a short while !
