If the box is crunching, fairly often or needs treated with care it ultimately needs rebuilt. I'm not sure anyone's suggesting otherwise but don't think early 911s came out of stuttgart 'crunching'....

However, the box in my standard SC is a perfect fit. There's too much suggestion in previous posts that it isn't.
