It is true that the cdn CBSA does not care about the American side
BUT
if a future owner was stopped in the US and the vin checked ( rare) the vehicle would be seized

importing was easy
daylight running lights and an inspection plus pay the taxes of course
save prob 4 grand over the whole thing
There are a few changes...

Installed a Pyle double din stereo/dvd player in my 98 by doing "some:" cutting and swearing but now sits and looks factory in where the lower bins used to be (in front of shifter)
