Running out of steam

My 944 N/A wants to die and refuses to start when it has been driven more than 10 or 15 minutes, leaving me stranded on any roadway that I have to stop.

Has anyone had this warm engine no-run...

I pulled the drivers side wheel, removed the plastic well liner and got to the plastic charcoal canister...sure enough it was crackedalong half of the bottom of the canister where it was originally...

I just removed my oil pump and find that the crank has been driving into the back of the oil pump and has worn rings into the back of the pump.

The alignment tool is necessary if you are refreshing the gaskets in the oil/water cooler. It isn't necessary when you are removing and installing the pressure valve.
