I really like these painted the opposite as you requested. Aluminum with black petals. If my wheels sucked I'd likely try this.

Anyone adjusted the mounts from a beetle rack to fit the width of the 911 rain gutters? I'm looking at maybe picking up an empi bug rack and bending the legs a little to fit properly.

I got it to fire up, then I couldn't get it again. Seemed the magnet ring wasn't sitting properly, tried pushing it down so the rotor would stop hitting the cap and broke it. Put the points back on...

I've got this pertronix ignitor 2 for my 77 911s so I can replace the points. I've also got the matching flame thrower coil. I tried wiring this in using the instructions provided, didn't work. ...
