The orange switch on a 76 912 appears to be the fog lights from the wiring diagram--I checked for a gas heater and found no signs of ever existing.....must be an ejection seat I think i'll reasign...

Where would this heater be located...I looked for it in the trunk and found nothing resembling a gas heater just the normal fan box

The fan shroud Id tag is missing which is proving to be a major problem in this quest. As for the distributor it is a Bosch #

The engine was in a Targa Body Vin # 9114310194 and has only 40,000 miles on it. This was an amazing find. Any ideas on a direction here are appreciated.
