I had that problem after pulling the engine to do the bearing a few months ago. A couple vacuum lines in the back (front?) cracked during the process but weren't obvious.

I'm oggling a 2001 996 at a well-known dealer in central IL. But it's $33k (33k miles, too). I was going to jump on it but it looks like it's maybe 5k overpriced?
