there was not a puddle...but i ran my hand up the clutch lever to where it meets the firewall and when I pulled my hand away there was some oil on it....is that normal??

I just bought the car about 2 1/2 years ago and...
I just bought the car about 2 1/2 years ago and the previous owner claims the clutch is fairly new....I have not had any slippage or any signs of clutch issues!

the same amount of resistance that is there...
the same amount of resistance that is there during normal operation!!! I couldn't tell anything by just pressing in the pedal...the only way I could tell was when the car refused to go into gear!
