A resurfacing of a pressure plate is less than 100 bucks, but I'd suggest that it would be more interesting to do that with anything but an NA plate.

There is a gearbox from the 88 924S that has a shorter 5th gear... a gearbox I'm looking for myself for a tracked NA.

Even if you are on a track, with an NA, most of the time is spent below 100mph...

I agree with your thoughts.. I would have swapped the FPR asap. Luckily, it's one of the cheaper parts in our cars :)

The number one problem with oil pressure is that the oil pump sleeve (that connects the pump to the crank) is worn out or that it's not tightened properly.....
I do have one or two oil pumps...
