I've owned both an S and S2; now a 968. S2 is far better than the S for a street car; the S needs to be wound out to perform though both handle great. S did not have valences, etc. It has the NA 944...

I pull a tire trailer with 5 mounted track tires, 2 track boxes and miscellaneous stuff. Done it for years; no problem. Just get the tongue weight right: around 50 to max 75 pounds.
