Have you tried checking the park/neutral switch? It could be something simple like that. I've seen similar issues before where shifting to neutral got things working again.

Take a look at the oil line kit from Elephant...

Take a look at the oil line kit from Elephant Racing for SSIs. It’s made for setups like yours and should fix the clearance issues.

Have you tried using a bit of painter’s tape to hold the guide in place while fitting the fender? It might help keep it stable and prevent it from shifting.
