Went to start my SC after it sat in our garage for a month or so (long story) the clutch would not disengage
I finally got it loose after warming up the motor a bit and then starting car in gear...

If I remember correctly from my EE classes, electricity flows around the outside of a wire - so corrosion will cause resistance. You will also get resistance if fuse and/or fuse holder are not clean...
