My Recaro specialist seats bolted to stock rails in an 84 are very low, 6'4 has a ton of headroom still. Pretty cheap easy solution.

My LX recaros bolted directly to the 911 seat rails. No adapters required, the bolt pattern was identical. Maybe check this isnt the case with yours.

As an update to this, I did change to a Porsche seal and its light years better (but costs 4x as much), holds alot better into the frame, the window popped out slightly with the URO, and the rubbers...
