Hey can you measure the cylinder and make sure its 97mm, they have a 95 stamp on the side. I thoguht the turbo cylinders are 97 for 97mm bore. Maybe these are 95mm reworked some time in the past?

Im not sure if there is a differences in 915 shifter towers based on year of make. However my car is a 911s 74', I had a short shifter in it and I found the throws to be huge like 8 inches from 1-2....
