Looks like the cage did it's job in protecting the driver. By the looks of it he may have slide the car on purpose to save the front of the car. All while just missing the engine bay. Lucky man.

Given the $$, I'd shop for a 74-77 and just make sure the rebuild has been done.

I already installed the E.R. Bump steer kit and it couldn't have been an easier install.

Now the front / rear control arm bushings thats another story for another day.
