Yeah, bit currently I'm running with a donor AFM from mechanics '86 Carrera so that should eliminate any issues with the flap and wiper, AFM temp sensor and throttle position switches. :(

Chris - the sensors have been swapped to no avail - the car has exactly the same problem when cold. Once warm it runs fine. Darn!

Just want to understand your condition a bit better to see how similar. You mentioned the stutter in 1st / 2nd gear , but then mention a road you drive that always made the symptom appear....
