Just the stamped number that it looks like the Vic police stamped when registering the engine.
And very badly mind you hence the
V being Vic and P for police ...

hey guys,

ive been having lots of trouble with my heater controls on my 82 911 sc.

I believe its the cables that keep crapping out and not operating the control boxes correctly so I'm looking...

The disaster was dropping the brush from the wiper motor into the depths of the actual motor and not being able to find it whilst repairing it and not being able to purchase that part separately....

Motor is still not engaging at random intervals.
Have had it out of the car completely cleaned..tightened
Can the windings go bad inside?
It still somehow keeps stopping...

The sump plate oil wasn't sludgy it was the inside the dry sump which once you put your finger inside and run it around was all pasty and sludgy

Haven't opened the filter yet, but the history on the car is that it had sat for about 15 or so years, there wasn't the fullest of tanks of oil found in it..the tank had loads of oil sludge/paste in...
