Do all the studs. Not just the barrel studs. Deck the through bolt surfaces and countersink the holes.

I use the Stomski tool on my 69. I jack it up and put it on stands, and then can reach everything just fine.

I realize that an SC is more crowded but that's my experience.

Oh and

Have them do every stud on the cases...ALL OF THEM. Mag cases pull studs. Deck and chamfer the thru bolt holes. Mag cases ovalize the holes.

Don't ask me how I know.

When I put a 2.9 with Webers in my 69 T I decided to put a good fuel pump and pressure regulator/gauge in the smuggler's box. Its wired to the first switched fuse in the fuse box....
