I need new tires for my 1988 911 Targa. It has the factory 16" wheels.

Currently installed: Yokohama - but the tires are about 10 years old and showing wear.

Any recommendations on tires?

Can anyone recommend a good mechanic/shop in the Seattle area (the car is in Bellevue) for a pre-purchase inspection of a 1988 Carrera Targa.
