1998 Boxster with 51,000 miles. I purchased the car with 5,000 miles and have changed oil using Mobile 1 0-40 yearly. Oil filter pleats are clean of any fragments. IMS has not been replaced.

Rear Height Adjustment Nuts, 1985 911

Loosened the retaining nut and the height adjustment nut on the torsion plates. Not able to turn the head of the 36mm eccentric nut to adjust the height. Feels like its binding.

Just installed a M and K Cat By Pass and have new Rear Bilstein HD Shocks mounted. I just noticed that they are lightly rubbing (maybe .16”).

RESULT.... It shifts like a NEW CAR. I am very happy with the results....

Took the unit off again for anther cleaning and tap (banging). Reinstalled and to my surprise its now working. Buzzing like a bee and the idle is smooth,
