I have - I tried out both the stock alternator...

I have - I tried out both the stock alternator (90A) and the high output (175A) unit from Classic Retrofit and they fit just fine - YMMV depending on fan condition.

Thanks for the info Jon; we've used a few aftermarket housings in the past (EPS/VERTEX via SSF) and the fitment wasn't all that great. I've heard the ones from CarPoint tend to be nice - which one(s)...

Was being facetious, although we've done it at slow speeds with diamond bits. Fixed glass is an entirely different size/shape anyhow.

Let me know if you happen to stumble across some vented glass.
