Run the engine untill its hot, hold the rpm at 800, does the oil pressure lights still come on?
Oil pressure increases with rpm so if you get the idle up chances are that you will solve the problem...

When cold, its got a normal sump, not like a 911 dry sump that needs to be hot when checking the level.

You need to loosen the clamps on the steering...

You need to loosen the clamps on the steering axle or you are pushing them up with the rack and cause binding....

Did you only let the engine run for a few seconds? If so that is too short a time, it will still be in cold start sequence. Let it run longer or better yet drive it for at least 10-15 minutes before...

It shouldnt be hard to make your own if you have access to a welder and some square tubing.
