Recently did the same.
Used the fittings from the sporto,
welded the internal parts shut, nuts tight to seal the connections.

‘80SC newbie.

Hi fellas,

First time on here, been 9 years waiting to get started on the SC.
It’s rusty, accident damaged and neglected with 150k on the odometer.
It did run when I got it but not great....
