update... An import mechanic told me to push down on the window and hold the down switch at the same time and it would unstick the window. I did that, and it went down, but now it only travels up 3...

I just bought a 1995 328ic. The top will not work at all, and problems with drivers seat. But first things first. When I bought the car the drivers window would seem to pull voltage but not operate....
