Jdogg I live in Goldsboro about an hour north of Fayettville and an hour east of Raleigh.

Suspension is very solid no movement and all the hinges and pivits are tight also. Rust is very minimal and I see no other rust even when I had the engine out the consoles looked good and solid....

I tried what Harvey suggested and it went right on in. I just carefully grinded the cable end of the swedge down narrower and it worked. THANKS EVERYONE
