i am interested in making my 85 carrera have that "new" factory tight sound when closing a door. I thought I might replace all rubber on each door...will this help or am I wasting my time?

I am having problems diagnosing a noise with my 85 911. When goig down the road the car had a roar in the front right side...when i slightly turn the wheel to that side, it stops...only to start...

my 85 targa's top is in need of recovering. Does anyone have advice on someone to do it. I would want the whole thing redone, hopefully that will cure "some" of my windnoise and water leaking.
