I just got my 83 SC running after not being on the road since 2004. New fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel pump, and accumulator. New plugs, plug wires, coil, and valves adjusted.

Just got the 83 SC back on the road after 16 years dormant. Car is remarkably in great shape after fuels lines, brakes, etc.

the speedometer works but not the odometer, any advice for a fix?

Can I Avoid MC Bench Bleed

I just totally rebuilt the brakes on my 83 SC. I replaced the Master Cylinder. I didn't bench bleed the Master Cylinder. Everything is back on and I've bled the brake lines with the Motive system....

Yep. Bought my 83 SC without any keys at all. Took the VIN and title and ID to Southpoint Porsche in Durham. Paid $80 and two weeks later had a key that worked perfect.

Yep. I have two out on one side (not on the same cylinder) and one on the other. I'm hoping I can enjoy the car for a season with no issues and maybe address the head studs next winter.
