Haven't had to put in a stereo or alarm in a while but you may want to check out the12volt.com. Any time I ever had issues I usually found the answer there. They also have wiring guides online.

I followed the sequence in my Porsche factory...

I followed the sequence in my Porsche factory shop manual and cross referenced it at clarks garage. I know I didn't clean it to an absurd level, but until I could feel no more old materiel left.

Has anybody ever had to replace a head gasket twice on an 87 944 n/a? I just replaced this thing last week and haven't even gotten a plate for it yet and I was trying to bleed air out of the system...

I did a compression test and it was 150+ psi on...

I did a compression test and it was 150+ psi on all cyl. I also did a fuel press check and it was about 40 psi running. I did notice however that as soon as the car shut down the press went to zero...
