I went for led bulbs off ebay and I find that they are a big improvement with a whiter light beam rather than the old dim yellow in comparison.

my 944 speedometer and mile ohmmeter both do not work and I believe that it is the transmitter that is screwed into the transaxle.
I wonder if anybody has attempted to repair one of these or if...
