U can get at the cable and nuts thru the intake...

U can get at the cable and nuts thru the intake manifold. U don.t have to take the intake off. I had a mechanic do the repair. I had thirty years of junk on the nuts.

I had the same problem. Starter would not spin. The problem was the negitive ground. The negitive ground is under the intake manifold . Clean the contacts.

Finally got it in. Figured it out. Thanks Rasta Monsta for the tip. The outside pad fits into a square tap on the inside of the calipers.

Well the pins are out and the inner pad is replaced. Now the outer pad won;t come out. It is loose and moves but when I try to remove it the whole caliper moves with it. Where is it hanging up?
