Faulty DME relay? Car won’t start

Drove my 944 -87 yesterday and suddenly the engine acted like it had a temporary loss of fuel. It happened 4-5 times within 5 minutes (seconds of lost momentum), then it was hard to start....

Thanks, I’ll try torquing the center nut tomorrow, will see where that leads. The hub is brand new, tried to treat it gently but still perhaps damaged in the process!
