It's the valve cover gasket, mine has done the same thing twice, it drips oil onto the header. I cured it by making my own gasket that was thicker, the one they sell for it is tissue thin...

You can rebuild them yourself for pretty cheap. It's kinda hard work to drive out the shaft though. Clark's Garage has a good article on it.

I am fixing to put this thing back together and I read posts discussing the sealant on the oil pump. I picked up some anerobic Permatex sealant, will that work or does it have to be the 574 type?
