Refurb H&R Springs ?

Has anyone refinished any H&R springs? I have a set that has some rust- I believe they are powdercoated (purple), I'm not sure if re powdercoating will effect the temper or if I should paint them...

Thanks Bill, it seems odd that a set of Mintex front pads for a 993 are about 30 dollars and the Textar ones are over 90, I believe in getting what you pay for, but that is a pretty large swing.
