When she didn't start when warm, did you notice if the tach bounced? Reference sensors can go bad just like that (the 2 times it happened to me was coming out of a store after she was fully warm....

I checked the voltage at pin 5 and ground at the KLR, and I got 0.0 with key out, 6.3v with the key in the 2nd/ accessory position, 7.5v with the car running. Seem right?
