OPRV Question

OK..

I'm trying to update my OPRV as it turns out my old one was sticky and killed my oil pressure and yadda yadda..

I have the old 3 piece one out and I'm trying to fit the update single piece...

Turned out to be the reference sensor gap. It was gapped when the weather was rather cold...now that its summer, I had to regap them as the hot...

For a while, I could only get the car to idle. Any attempts to rev it up would just stall it out. The tach would move up just a hair as though it were abt to rev, then the car would stall out.

Theres a drain hole on the bottom of the belt covers and an intake hose in the top....I think its safe to assume that it was for cool air.

Mind you, I've heard a better theory that made more...

I did a cat-delete 3 weeks ago...switched over to a stock muffler. Sounds easily 10x better than a beefier muffler+cat...

Not so much a 'VRROOM' anymore....now its more of a 'VRRRROOOWWWW' lol

When its plugged in, ya...its trying to keep it at idle. Ie. giving it gas just stalls it right out.

Its the little motor that hums away under the intake mani. Got a 3 prong plug going to it?
