thanks for the info kevin , I am currently putting in a used DME wiring harness because the previous owner smashed the connectors going to the fuel injectors, and connectors running down to the back...

I have a 85.5 944NA euro , numbers 944.618.121.01 this car is an automatic, what other DME would work? do the numbers differ between autos and standards?
