Hi, Rebuilding a 930 3.3 turbo. I noticed it was running with a 964 oil pump..not the 930 pump. Is that ok? or not a good idea?

If its fine, Im assuming I still use the standard pressure...

Case seam damage

So I have some damage on the seam about 6 inches near the bottom oil pump cover.

its on the outer edge of the seam.. Raised up about less than 1mm. It appears its from people jacking up the car...

I understand one must try to get the rod weights as close as possible. However, what if they are close, but when you weight the long rods and caps seperate then they are diffrent.
