Thanks once more for the info. I have run the diff in the opposite direction, that is the second picture.
I've looked at it when the sun has caught it, and it needs to be brought back to the centre....

Thanks for the photo's. I have seen this post on a link to you tube. The only problem is that my pattern does not resemble any one in the photo.
My pattern is totally different, to my eyes anyway....

I wonder if any one can shed some light for the ring and pinion depth pattern I'm getting on my diff on a 71 901 dog leg box.
