You can bolt up the 968 bell housing and torque tube to the 944S transmission. Of corse you use the 968 clutch and flywheel inside of the 968 bell housing.

As for not using the Platinums, I don't think you have to worry. I believe it is the Platinum+4's that you shouldn't use.
