Make sure the connection in the engine compartment on the passenger side right next to the positive jumper line is clean and the connection is good.

You should have used a peace of plastic sheeting to cover the stripper up after you had put the stripper on the hood . It keeps if from drying out and helps it remove the paint so you do not have to...

It is metric line so you need to get metric to AN. I believe it would be - 6 line which will fit in where the line runs under the car. Be there done that.
