i'm about to attempt to replace the clutch in my 01 911 turbo. this would be the biggest job i have done. does any body know if the motor has to come out?

does anyone know if you can pull the trans out of a 95 993 C4 without pulling the motor? i might take on the clutch job if you can just pull the trans but i don't really want to pull the motor....

it doesn't idle 100% smooth but i have heard it was normal for 993s to have an idle that wasn't perfect. if you don't mind me asking how can a non OEM fan belt cause a misfire?

my friend also has a 996 so i swapped the mass...
my friend also has a 996 so i swapped the mass air flow sensors and the same problem is still there. it wasn't because i swapped the sensors but the problem got worse. at any random time more often...

it runs more rough when the motor gets hot. and the check engine light does go on. it throws a random cylinder misfire code, a cylinder one misfire code, and sometimes cylinder two or four misfire.
