Do the spacers depend on the offset of the wheel used? Only I've seen a car with 7 and 8 cookie cutters done in black with no spacers. They actually look OK.

What size Fuchs do folks generally put on a 914 with the GT flares fitted. I ask as I'm considering buying a 914 that's had the flares done, but is yet to have wider wheels and a 5 lug conversion.
