I had recently discovered my battery slowly discharging over days. No alt light, but voltage was 11.5 and dropped over time. My alternator was old and needed bearings so I had it fully rebuilt....

Thanks to all who chimed in. Noid light showed all was well, so I whacked the two injectors a couple times and all was perfection. Super satisfying to complete my first 911 R&R!

I have checked spark, spark plug wires to correct plugs, and have narrowed it to the fuel injection, I think.

My bet: valve guides. You have a fouled plug due to oil contamination. All depends on where the engine stops turning when you switch it off. Some days you get oil in a cylinder, some days you don't....
