Yeah, using a multimeter we measured the voltage at the starter when the key was turned to the start position and got 7v. When we measured the wires (not the starter), we got 12v.

My 944 will not crank - sometimes. Sometimes it does crank flawlessly, but sometimes, like this morning, it won't crank - especially when I need to go to work.
